Photographer's Note

This photograph is taken toward the direction of Ochanomizu station from the Manseibashi bridge. Manseibashi bridge is one of the bridges which are located in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo and built over Kanda river. It is on the national highway No-17. It is located in the southernmost end of the Akihabara electronics quarter here. It faces across Kanda river through which it flows in the center, and the elevated bridge of a brick-laying arch is visible to left-hand side. This is the building which had the railway station of Chūō Line till 1943, and there was Transportation Museum after the war. It also greeted the closing in 2006 and the former site was redeveloped and is again born now in the commercial establishment of the restaurant and cafe with a retro atmosphere using the brick arch. In the elevated bridge top, the train of Chūō Line (Rapid) is running still now. It is mixed with office buildings and an amusement building is visible to the right-hand side of a bridge. And, the high building of a university hospital is visible to the central back with mixed to many office buildings. It was chilly and cloudy day on that day.
