Photographer's Note

This photo is one that was taken in the first floor commercial facility "KITTE" in JP tower which was built on the site of the Tokyo Central Post Office in front of Tokyo Station south exit. The building is a high-rise building with 38 floors above ground and on the fourth floor basement, commercial facility is composed of 7 floors up to six stories above ground from the first floor basement. Floor center has become a vaulted ceiling, facing the passage that made store almost all so as to surround the atrium. The concept of "Feel JAPAN" (27 shops of product sales 71 shops of eating and drinking) 98 shops have opened. This photo is a shop selling women's bag. Inside narrow space to store, bags of several types were displayed in the shelf it with a space under bright lighting. Wall is a combination of green and white gentle to the eyes light. Shadow has been embossed on wall as aimed at visual effects. As compared to the cheap shop and supermarket for the masses the goods are arranged in an offhand manner, shop design has been refined for targeting the wealthy people. There, in the layout, lighting, exhibition, etc., intended to attempt to capture customers by issuing the attractive glimpse. It is probably a strategy to tie in sales. In that sense, it is required that the shop designer ability is better.

KITTE: The kitte is a Japanese word that means stamp.
