Photographer's Note

Papa Jo's is actually a very common name for a Mexican pub. I did like the somewhat worn out shade and wooden front. Again, colour was not the focus here but rather the many details such as the "sorry we're closed" sign, the bicycle, menu signs and faded shade.

This is a pub somewhere in a back street of chinatown in Yokohama. A lot of beautiful old and small pubs can be found here with a genuine atmosphere. If anyone visits chinatown in Yokohama, please visit one of the pubs or wine bars. They are fantastic.

Post editing workflow:
Converted to B&W, increased contrast and sharpness, reduced highlights to get more details of the menus, added strong vignette (dark), reduced the midpoint of the vignette but increased the feather of the vignette, applied lens correction to compensate distortion.
