Photographer's Note

This photograph is taken by Terugasaki seashore in Oiso. This seashore is the long coastline which faces the Sagami bay and adjoins the direction in Ninomiya. I changed the train from early morning and went to Oiso on that day. Oiso is the small town surrounded by a mountain and the sea. From that it is close to Tokyo, and being in the environment blessed with nature, there were many cottages of a literary man or a politician once. Moreover, the seashore here is the first beach in Japan which was able to do it in 1885. I walked from the station and went to the seashore for about 10 minutes. Since it is a weekday, a figure of people is not seen, either. After seeing and turning around the small Oiso fishing port for a while, I walked for Terugaski beach. It is the large seashore facing the Sagami bay. There were big rocks to the front. The local person who had gathered the sea tangle rolled the seashore were also saw. Since this seashore was close also to Hakone in distance, it's mountain range and Mt. Fuji in Hakone were back visible in the neighborhood. The spring sea was quiet. On the seashore, some persons were surf-fishing toward the sea using the long pole. It seems that the fish of a silver whiting or a suggrundus meerdervoortii can be taken.
