Photographer's Note

I went to the Chitose airport in Hokkaido by help and send-off on that day, since the friend of the foreigner who is present in Japan went back. It was a long time that I take an airplane. After having seen off a friend at an international airline counter, I decided to decide travelling in the Chitose suburbs since I thought that returning to Tokyo immediately is was insipid. The direction which I went toward is Yūbari. I changed by Minami Chitose from the Chitose airport station, I waited at the station for about 1 hour, rode on the limited express for Obihiro, and got down in Shin-Yuubari for the connections to other railway routes. It is common unlike the train of the metropolitan area, to wait for the transfer station for 1-2 hours in Hokkaido, since the district route has very few trains excluding the main route for Sapporo from the Chitose airport. When seen from the train window, the trees of a place between mountains and a plain were dyed deep/beautiful autumnal tints. Because latitude of Hokkaido is high compared with Honshu, the time of autumnal leaves is early. I came out of the Shin-Yūbari station once and took a walk around, since I must wait for 1 hour and a half to change to the train for Yūbari from Shin-Yūbari. This photograph is taken from the bridge built over the Yūbari river in the place along which I walked about 10 minutes from the station.
