Photographer's Note

Yesterday I had a day full of excitement. First, we went rafting on the mountain river. The rafting was for ages from 7 to 65, wrrr. I had to sign a special paper that I go for my own risk. It was great fun. The scenery was gorgeous but unfortunately no photos as we were all wet in rapids and under waterfalls. Later, we saw Balinese performance in the temple.
sorry, but the whole days are so full that I have no time for critiques.

Was the temple for this performance in Ubud? It looks a bit like the place we watched a performance in 1995.

Hello Malgo,
This looks like an exotic performance. I am impressed by how you managed the exposure equally well in the bright and dark areas. It must have been exciting to watch this, but the men and boys sitting on the ground look very bored! I studied their postures carefully. Many of them seem to have their thoughts somewhere else. ;-)
Tomorrow will be even more exciting, I bet.

Hello Malgo,

A tough photograph to attempt, with such relatively low light, but the outcome has been successful. The main characters are nicely illuminated whilst there are enough b/g details to create an excellent sense of place and occasion.

Dear Malgo,

In terms of lights and colours its an excellent photo. I like how the two main characters are highlighted against the shady bg. The glint on the headress of the man in the bg makes it a bit scarry. :)

I hope you're ok, its pretty widespread with the Coronavirus, especially in Asian countries but now its hitting hard in North America too. interesting pic with the men sitting along the bottom, it almost looks Haunting! love the spooky atmosphere with the darkness. Sounds like you're having lots of fun!

Hello, the children wear a traditional clothes. They dance in a magical setting to present Balinese folklore to the foreigners. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.
