Playing gamelan music with mom, a photo from Bali, Nusa Tenggara

Ubud, Bali,
Totally different from yesterday, i took this shot during a repetition of a women gamelan
Every area of Ubud have his gamelan, you can meet everyone of theese women like saler in shop, like owner of a homestay...
They join to repeat at the end of the evening, so when you stay in Bali, you can, if you are interested watch and see it everywhere.
In this case, school is finished, so women come with the children,
this one tried to play with finger the music her mother play with hammer.
This was a good moment, the setting sun just came from outside on the musician face,only here...

Encore une fois tres jolie scene a Ubud qui a travers ton objectif parait un lieu magique, onirique...L'or brille sous les rayons d'un soleil couchant.
Qu'est-ce que je fous bien ici dans cette boite a Tokyo...?

Yes, lovely sunlight. It almost seemed like you made use of the flash. The girl has a wonderful concentrated and funny expression. Marvellous colours, as well.

Good PoV and timing, catching a great expression of the little girl. Worth using that fast fixed focus here, a very sharp clear image, which you probably would have managed if you'd lost a couple of stops.

hi joel, a genius portrait of the mother and daughter - just the couple being in focus, and indeed - luck with the sun enlightening mother's face as if underlining her pride of being the musician and the mother;

une belle emotion bien capturée ... une lumiere superbe (sauf pour la dame de droite (:() dont le visage est noyé sous la lumiere ... mais difficile de cadrer et d'exposer autrement)
une belle compo avec une atmosphere assez speciale.

La musique du gamelan résonne dans ma tête.
J'ai une migraine, c'est oppressante cette musique (j'avoue que jn'y connais rien) à Ubud, on l'entend dans tous les magasins. Il faut le vivre au moins une fois.

J'adore Bali, j'adore Ubud (et Kuta aussi), j'adore Lombok et les iles Gili.

Really nice light you have here Joel Just falling on the mothers face. Very sharp. nice expression you have caight on the daughters face too, she looks as if she is singing to what she plays. Nicely composed, but it really is the light here that does it.

une gallerie de portraits tous aussi soignés et reussis les uns que les autres. un registre que je ne connais qu'à travers certains membres de Te dont tu fais partie.
savoir saisir l'attitude, la lumiere qui la rend le mieux, une profondeur de champ adaptée, et tant d'autres paramêtres rendant la tache peu evidente.
Ici, tout y est.
l'image est tres belle et tres evocatrice.
