Photographer's Note
While close in proximity, Sanur is a world away from over-crowded Kuta. There are plenty of hotels, but no beach to speak of. Every morning there were peaceful moments like this - a local man wading through the shallow waters looking for shell fish. At certain times of day, the waters were full of people looking for the same thing.

I liket it! Great details on the water, even if I would crop the sky a bit.

Hi Shaun,
thanks for sharing this picture. I like that this picture is almost black and white, but the litte blue comes really good. Great composition.

A very nice image Shaun that would look fine in Black and White too - a nice composition.

Great shot!!
Love the silhouette man, I think he tells a great story. Composition is also very good by my opinion!
Thanks for showing.

Hola Shaun, me gusta mucho su trabajo fotográfico. La foto denota belleza y paz. El color del cielo en azul seguramente se vería muy bello también. Felicidades por su trabajo.

Nice. I like how you composed the whole scene with the man balancing the boat very nicely. The subtle colors and shadows work well and give the shot a sense of mystery (without your note my interpretation of the scene would have been much different due to the mystery factor here). Good work.

Simply beautiful, Shaun. I suspect you considered going monochrome on this one, because you're almost there, plus you have the stick silhouettes too, but the blue grey color adds a tremendous amount to this moody piece. It's like you've made silhouettes interesting again, you found a new way around them. Well done, Francis.
