Hi Yoga,

Yeah, that is a difficult shot. If you would have had the face to the side, the silouette would have been very interesting. Right now, the skin tones are a bit off with the light and reflections of it coming from straight in front of you.
Lake Batur was wonderful! Haven't been up close, since I was doing the mountain area in one day. But the overview shots I got are just great. Your compo is very nice, but it are the skin green-yellow tones that is just a pity. But difficult light situation.

Hello, Yoga,
this is beautiful. I love those warm gold colors around her and the backlighting. Backlit shots are some of my very favorites and this one is one beautifully done. And even though she is centered, the pool of light that surrounds her is wonderful. The yellow of the shirt she's hoding picks uo the colors perfectly. I like also the sihouette reflected back. Really, really nice shot. Just lovely. Kind regards,

Hello Yoga. Your photo shows a scene from the world of the work. The woman has her wash day. By the wonderful light their work seems gilded. The photo is outstanding composed. The shade in the water increases the effect of the picture. Very beautifully and worth seeing. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Hi Yoga, this is excellent colour and light. The gold tones from the sun show up very well against the water, accentuated by those ripples. The lady is holding a yellow shirt to add to this. How great is that? She herself is dressed in a colourful pattern which gives a nice contrast to the gold. Very nice.

It is an impressive picture taking in consideration the circumstances of a back lit composition. The colours are wonderful and the silhouette created by the shadow against the sky reflection is very good. I love it.

This light is truly magic, the woman and her laundry seem to float one the surface of liquid gold. The concentric ripples and the rougher patches in the background nicely frame the central subject, with the backlit shirt as wonderful point of focus.

A really lovely shot! Great use of colors and backlighting. The centering of the woman works because the images in front of her are off-center, as is the fact that she is holding the shirt to her left. Good timing on the ripples, too!

Superbe image compte tenu des des conditions de lumiere particulierement difficiles.Jolies couleurs.
La silouhette qui se reflete et les remous dans l'eau sont du plus bel effet.Je suppose qu'un travail de postprocessing a du etre necessaire pour eclaircir les zones sombres.
Excellent travail.

Outstanding travel image, so very different of photos one usually sees of lake Batur. Backlighting and the golden colours of the water creates exception mood here. Perfect timing and great idea to include the reflections.
