Photographer's Note
Some of the giant stupas on top of the Borobudir Temple. Borobudur is a 9th-century Mahayana Buddhist Temple located in the Special Region of Yogyakarta in Central Java, Indonesia. It is the world’s largest Buddhist temple and one of the greatest Buddhist monuments in the world. One can’t help but be in awe of this magnificent Javanese Buddhist architecture which stood the test of time. Borobudur is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Hi Mics
these temples really are attractive arent they, always fun to photograph.
The photo works well because of the strong color variance of the bright blue sky and the darkness of the temple.
The clouds work well too.
Sweet post in your gallery.
cheers

Hello Michelle
Nice wide-angle shot, which gives these bell-like structures an imposing presence. The inclusion of the figures adds a sense of scale, though they should be wearing saffron robes! Natural-looking colours and an interesting sky.

Silhouettes of the people give us the scale of this temple, very nice photo with great clarity and details

Dear Mics
Oooh fantastic. I never realised that the stupas were in Indonesia aswell. I only thought they were in Thailand and Myanmar. Excellent POV, beautiful perspective and management of the harsh light conditions/ Excellent work.
Warmest wishes
