Photographer's Note

The stunning sunrise from mount Penanjakan over the caldera of Tengger is one of the must of all the travellers who ventured in the eastern part of Java.
With the horizon drawn by the lines of volcanos Sumeru and the smoking Bromo it's amazing watching the fog that slowly disappear with the first rays of sun showing the sea of sand on the crater of Tengger around the Bromo and mount Batok.

This is breathtaking! The time of the day, freshness of the light, your vatage point... And the silky, flowing clouds almost suggest a long exposure. A great landscape is the one which can invoke feelings. This one surely does.

Well composed with a very nice effect of the fog.
I like the view over the two vulcano's. Is the mountain you are standing on also a vulcano?

The sheet of fog slowly revealing the mountains summit is a landscaper dream; what a stunning view!

The light is warm and low, with a splendid marbled sky.

Oh Luca!

This one is breathtaking! The softness of the fog textures is excellent and is matching so well with the tender hues of colors! It looks like an ethereal cascade, where gods only can swim!!! Congratulations!

Questo posto e' sempre cosi. con questa luce e questa nebbia incredibili ?
Ogni foto che vedo e' pazzesca. Questa non e' da meno.
Tra l'altro si vede una zona piu' ampia di quanto non venga mostrata in genere.
Mancano solo i dinosauri.
