Photographer's Note

someone said here on TE that photography is about feelings and emotions, and at least for this picture it applies to me, too. I was in India on a business trip and I was calling my mother to say I had landed. She had never left Rome in all her life, but she said "... oh, India - that's where women wear saris!". two days later she was dead, and this is the last thing I remember her telling me. When I went back four months later, I went to visit the Belur temple. I was walking around and suddenly this group of women pops out of nowhere, with their colourful saris and their jasmine-scented hair. I just managed to take this one picture - my camera died after that, too.
