Photographer's Note
A lonely trail to hidden treasures.
Winter snows are retreating but the permenant snow fields remain to be crossed by the summer graziers, meadows full of flowers gold, pink and blue.
Best of all lakes with trout fit to eat.
There are four horses and three people travelling across this snow field.
No snow on xmas day in England Though

This is a good picture, Simon.
Like many in your gallery.
This work of yours is extremely true and as natural as can be.
Sure there is no gimmicks out there, no blue skies(and 'blue' snow).
Instead, a good perspective, and a good balnce of white and black shades of grey.
Gosh... how can ANYONE give a sad smiley to this photo - beats me?
All the best for you Simon, with the warmth of a Christmas spirit...

I think is good picture, me either.
It is impressive composion with a big royaume of the snow and with very little human and animal elements. We are very little, lost in the nature.
Best regards. Grazyna.

Dear Simon,
Excellent landscape with a meaning. Probably the top of the hump wold have been included in the frame if you would have put your cam down to the ground.
Best wishes
