Photographer's Note

In a little village near Trichy I met these baby and mum.
I like to ask to click at babies: mothers are always proud and happy to have their children photograped.
So, as Tamil people are proud... this lady is very proud!

I dedicate this double portrait to Henk (Oochappan) : I would go back there and shot many other portraits of Tamil people. At that time I used my first Coolpix, and saved pic at a low quality because I had no way to save them, only memory sticks.

I dont really like dis much because it has nothing much 2 offer in photographic sense. Shot against light the details r missing. Maybe you were not into photography then like u r now. Overall a poor dedication to a great photographer.

CIAO LIVIA, le espressioni che hai colto sono belle...anche se in controluce e non perfetta tecnicamente resta comunque una bella dedica fatta ad un grande fotografo di questo paese...

Sure it is so much synergy with Shots of Henk...
I liek the proud lady1s portrait with so much details - the red thread & the dollar on the baby is typical of a place , mEl maruvaththur near chennai, a contemporary phenomenon - all to good.
