Photographer's Note

The Victoria Memorial, located in Kolkata, India is a memorial of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom who also carried the title of Empress of India.
The structure was designed by Sir William Emerson in an architectural style similar to Taj Mahal. It was built between 1906 and 1921. It is a majestic white marble building at the southern end of the Maidan and surrounded by a sprawling garden. Unlike many other monuments of British Imperialism in India, it has been well maintained. Source: wikipidia

I am amused at the large building and the reflection, during dusk in Kolkata, in northeast India. This Museum is so beautiful we can take pictures in both daylight and Illumination. The colors that dramatize the situation are only during sunset. I was not prepared for the shot anyway! I just took my Nikon with 28-105mm lens and saw this nice scene. I kept the camera on my bag, on the compound of the lake and gave long exposure. I took reading on the lighting and gave one stop under exposure to get proper exposure.
I like the twilight giving very cool effects for the picture.
