Photographer's Note

Jaisalmer's is said to have once been a halting point along a traditional trade route traversed by the camel caravans of Indian and Asian merchants. Any possible remnant of that era was finally extinguished upon the partition of India in 1947
Undoubtedly the most well known destination in Jaisalmer after the ‘golden fort’, the Sam Sand dunes are a tourist hot spot in more ways than one. 3km long, 1km wide and as much as half a kilometer high, the dunes are as treacherous as they are scenic. Sleeping out in the open, stretched out on the sands while facing the twinkling sky is an out of the world experience. Many a tourist has fallen in love with the haunting beauty of the dunes – there is a definite aura of romance about it.

I took this picture on the Sam Sand dunes during the Sun set as you are seeing here. The Camel Rider was moving back to the road, and I was following parallel And shot many frames. I used Nikon –f90X and Nikor 28-105mm lens. No filters. This place is best for Travel Photography and you get lot of Subjects.
