Photographer's Note

The Wagah-Attari border ceremony happens at the border gate, two hours before sunset each day. A marching ceremony is conducted each evening along with the flag ceremony. The picture shows the part of the public where the ladies are sat.

A very good overview of the many visitors that had been drawn to the ceremony. You captured their many happy and expectant faces very well and clearly. I like the bright colours as well.

Either you are a very handsome man, or all these women looking at you were wondering how you managed to get into the ladies' section. ;-)
It's a very nice photo, and not quite what would be expected to see from a military parade. But as should be expected with so many Indian women there are many beautiful faces and of course lots of colours.

Yes I recall the similar Antalya image that Christine uploaded. Sad that she deleted her gallery. Anyway there sure are a lot of people here! India is expected to overtake China in the next few years as the world's most populous country. Good colour and sharpness. Tfs!

is it just me...or are most of these spectators women??? Where are all the men? Are the men and women seperated deliberately? like in the temples? its an interesting and fun perspective, one which we don't get to see often. cheers
