Photographer's Note

I'm just posting this for fun today..

It was on a busy road in the city of Bikaner when this big fella just came up to me to see what I was whilst enjoying the warm sunshine! I held the camera at belt level slowly pointing in the general direction of the nose. AF was essential to get the subject sharp in focus; he had a good sniff of me though, but I made sure that I made no surprising moves and never took my eye off the animal.

I love the picture because, to me, it encapsulates the three things about cows that never cease to amaze me; they are so inquisitive when approached, always jut their head towards you in that manner and they have very thin legs supporting a massive body.

Just a simple street capture & that's how it is...

Setting: 24 mm, 1/200 sec, F5.6, ISO Raw 200, 1628 hrs
