Photographer's Note

Two hour steep uphill climb to 16th century ruins of the Taragarh Fort above the holy city of Ajmer in Rajasthan, North India.

As you get higher, the holy city seems to fade in the golden light. The journey ends at one of the three beautiful gateways of the forgotten fort.

There is sadness, but then, a flight of pigeons..
