Photographer's Note

Crossing Hooghly River, Howrah bridge is considered the busiest cantilever bridge in the world.

On the east end of the bridge, Mullik Ghat flower market is a sensory overload of sights and smells. On the other side lies Howrah Railway Station, one of the largest in the world with rail connections dispersing to all major Indian cities and towns.

The bridge is flanked by footpaths of 15 feet wide, swarmed with 150 000 pedestrians per day.
