A young Camel herder passing by his camel at dusk during annual camel fair.This is the image i shot during Pushkar Camel Fair held annually in the month of November every year.Thousand of camel herders take part in this fair and trade their camels.Folk dances,puppet show,camel race,horse race etc are also organized in the fair.Fair also has a pilgrimage value and thousand of devotees take a dip in holy pond to attain salvation.Pushkar Camel fair is perfect opportunity to shoot traditional indian lifestyle portraits.

Hi Narendra,
Nice silhouettes and the background colors. But I really wish to see the long sexy legs of the camel. Without the leg the picture is half and does not give a sense of magnitude of his and the man's height.

love the silhouette lightning and the image of this camel herder and his camel, i love the sunset lightning the background and the colours. A wonderful capture that you will never get bored from. Well done.
