Photographer's Note
A group of friends went to Pushkar to attend the famous camel fair, when we reached there we found out that it has finished and everyone is packing up.
The photograph is not sharp, credit owed to the pathetic lens I borrowed from my friend...I found the subject of photograph more interesting which is why I am putting it here.
I watched these men push the jeep through the sand unsuccessfully, the woman pushing the jeep was standing by watching the men, laughing at them...and then she jumped in the scene and pushed.Lo and behold !!! The jeep started to move and I was like "Now that`s a show" and I love the woman in the jeep looking at me giving me that funny look !!!

the NOVA is really createing magic here.. it takes me back in time to some of the classic shots taken in the 60s.
i think your friend's "pathetic" lens has managed to create wonders here.
if youre stuck with the nova and a pathetic lens for some time then maybe you should try and take advantage of it.. since they seem to create photographs that seem realy really old.. and ofcourse nice
this is your best photograph till now
take care :)
p.s. forgot to mention that this is a really good daily life photograph as well sine cars all over india keep reaking down . haha mine breaks down almost everyday

I am not surprise to see Soharb's comment here. It's a different picture thanks to your compo and the lens I have never heard of.
Nova?
I like the picture.. very nice daily life shot.. Hope you don't have to borrow sorhab's car soon.

Hilarious, to say the least! :-) The composition is excellent as is the timing.

Mysteriously all the components come together in your photos, as Sohrab says, Nova, crap lens and all... but the lack of sharp focus here makes me crazy, I can't help it!
i think there is something very authentic, very honest about your photos, and that's why i like them. the medium helps... ;) You know those photos that are cold because they are too slick? Well, that's exactly what you're photos aren't. But that's a good thing!

A nice moment and a fresh photo - I sometimes despair of over technical photography - it's a really good to see someone posting such a good image because they strongly like the picture and what it tells despite the quality of a lens or technical capability.
Thanks for the story too!
