Photographer's Note

In this vertical section of the dome, starting at 11 o'clock, Sardul Singh appears with his five sons. Continuing anti-clockwise, at 9 o'clock men are shown wrestling. Then at 8 o'clock, peacocks appear in a garden setting.

Amazingly, at 7 o'clock, there is a rectangle - inside of which is text. This is an inscription on which is written the name of the person commemorated here, name of the builder, amount spent on construction, date, and name of the mason.

At 6 o'clock, a musician entertains on a flute. The fancy scenes around the base of the dome show various incarnations of Vishnu, and scenes from the life of Krishna, as well as from the Ramayana.

At 3 o'clock, there is a lordly type, possibly Singh, on horseback, while at 1 o'clock, it could be Singh again in court with entertainers.
