Photographer's Note

The road from the village centre winds its way south to Jodhpur. On the western verge, just a bit south and east of the Surya-Vishnu Temple, reposes the Vishnu Temple - probably dating from the last quarter of the eighth century. It faces west and this view is from the east and the road just after midday. In detail, it shares much in common with Harihara 3 and the Surya-Vishnu. Vishnu's image rests in the central niche of the sanctuary, which reposes on a terrace.
