Photographer's Note

Mehrangarh, located in Jodhpur, was built in around 1459 by Rao Jodha, the fort is situated 125 m above the city and is enclosed by imposing thick walls. Inside its boundaries there are several palaces known for their intricate carvings and expansive courtyards. Most of the fort which stands today dates from the period of Jaswant Singh of Marwar (1638–78). Its walls are up to 36 metres high and 21 metres wide. The fort has musicians performing folk music at the entrance and houses museum, restaurants, exhibitions, and craft bazaars. The fort was one of the filming locations for Disney's 1994 live-action film the jungle book, as well as the 2012 film the dark knight rises. Source : wiki
