Photographer's Note

As I still haven't checked all my photos from Gujarat, here's another detail of the Amber Fort, near Jaipur. These arches are not the same I've shown on a previous post, but they also caught my eye because of the light, architecture and colours.
Amber Fort is an important Palace-Fortress and a citadel where the kings have lived till the 18th century, when Jaipur became the capital. It's situated 11 kms far from Jaipur and it's an impressive masterpiece made of white and red sandstone, blending the Hindu and the Muslim styles and overlooking the Maotha Lake. It's possible for tourists to reach the Fort on elephant.
