Mumbai - A street near Banganga Tank

A simple street scene this time but I remembered lots of pictures have been posted on TE, mostly taken in Mediterranean countries, showing groups of (older) men enjoying sitting together and chatting somewhere on the street or on a square.
Often, someone asked why there were only men and where were the women.
This time the reverse situation :)

The picture is taken in the neighbourhood around the Banganga Tank.
See photos in the WS.
In full town there’s a small enclave of temples, a bathing place and pilgrims’ rest houses.
Unfortunately, there were not many pilgrims during my visit.

According to Hindu legend, Lord Ram created this tank by piercing the earth with his arrow.
