Photographer's Note

I'm posting my 600th photo today and to celebrate it, I've chosen a portrait I've taken in Nirona, during my last trip to Gujarat. During these years, I've learnt a few things about photography and about the world, but I've also made lots of friends here and had the chance to meet some of you. Hope to meet many more! Thanks a lot to you all and keep posting!

This is another photo taken in Nirona, a very nice small village near Bhuj, in the Kutch District. Largely affected by the earthquake of 2001, this area is famous for the handicrafts made by the locals. Some of them are really artwork and a good way for the locals to get some money. This woman was one of several who were selling handicrafts to the few tourists that visit the village.
