Photographer's Note
An old woman selling utensils outside her hut in the open. She turns her bed(khatla), made from wodden frame with rope, into a shop. This kind of bed is very light and can be moved around with one hand(maybe not by the old woman).

I agree with Arnab, I like also colors - the surroundings have different color than the woman. Another thing - great details - and the contrast between reflecting, bright surfaces and dark, wrinkled face. Good job!

such a poignant image--she looks like she's had such a hard life. Her hands and feet are very expressive and i wish you could see more of her foot there at the bottom; otherwise, perfect.

The wide-ish 24mm lens gives a good perspective of the woman and her wares. I like how the colour and focus is on the woman and the reflective, slightly out of focus pots don't take away from her portrait, but are still a key element of the shot.

may not by she doesn't look too heavy to me.. Nice image Ashit.. So those beds have a different name in Gujarat, not charpoi, but khatla..
Lovely colors as usual.

Wow great shot! She looks so fragile! Those tiny little arms. Miracle that she can even lift those utensils. Working so hard.....
Great colours and angle.

Original POV; well exposed; I would perhaps crop a bit more (1/10th left/top)

Another fantastic photo. It's 24mm, so you were very close to the woman. Nice that she accepted the photo. I have noticed that old people in Asia (well, South-Eastern Asia I have visited) doesn't like being photographed. I wonder why... However, it does not apply to kids. On the contrary, they like it very much.
BTW, I always wanted to visit India. Is there any special region you would suggest me for the first time?
Best regards,
Grzegorz

is amaizing,
i love her fantastic wise face
which can tell you a lot about her life
and contrast big head - high/heaven and small right hand - low/earth
looks like her mind is so far and free from the troublesome earth

I think her far away look is really telling - a very nice point of view and framing of the subject - very nice.

This is beautiful. I like very much the angle you chose. Perhaps I wish you had a little more space at the bottom, to include all her arm.

The perspective adds a lot of drama to this portrait of a women perhaps not as noticed as she should be in the world. The bright colors contrast with her sun-darken skin and deep set eyes. Very poignant portrait.
