Photographer's Note

Alleppey in Kerala, India, is famous for its backwaters. These canals crisscross across the district, and are the most common ways for travelling, which explains the constant traffic of the exquisitely designed houseboats ferrying tourists as well as the smaller canoes ferrying the commoners. Among the reigning chaos, this flock of ducks vie for space, bullying the boats as they cross the waterways, all the while quacking loudly, forcing the boats to wait patiently until the flock is safely across :)

The only thing I failed to notice while clicking this one, was the front tip of my own canoe showing in the right bottom corner, I am sure I am going to receive a lot of well deserved flak for that.
