Photographer's Note

Kudremukh can be roughly translated into the English term of 'horse-faced range'.
The Tunga River and Bhadra River flow freely through the parklands. Soothanabbi waterfalls area definite point of interest for anyone who travels to the spot.
The animals found there include the Malabar civet, wild dogs, sloth bear and spotted deer.Soothanabbi Falls is situated in Kudremukh National park, in Karnataka. This is the heart of Western Ghats, which has many endemic species of Birds, insects and amphibians, apart from Plants. Here the natural water falls is the life line to many animals and birds. In the month of August, which is a monsoon season, the Soothanabbi will flow to the brim, with full of vigor and beauty. The foam from the falls makes it difficult to get a clear picture of the falls. Here in this picture you can see the droplets of the water falls falling on the lens, thus creating a soft effect.

Nikon f-100, with Nikor 18-35mm. On a tripod. Auto expo, at F-11.
