Photographer's Note
This is a sacred place called Iruppu in south Coorg on the Brahmagiri range of hills.This waterfalls is amidst of lush green Western Ghats and is in the Coorg District of Southern India located at about 50kms from Madikeri and 20kms from NagarahoLe National Park. This stream will later join The river Kaveri. This tributary is called Lakshmana Teertha who origin is in the Brahma Giri peaks in side the Brahmagiri Wildlife Sanctuary.
This place is said to possess the power to cleanse one's sins and is visited by thousands of devotees on Shivaratri day.
