The rain dance, a photo from Karnataka, South

It has been raining quite a bit here for the last couple of days. I was out on the streets yesterday with my camera just to see if I could get lucky and I did. It had just started drizzling again when I took refuge in a bus stop. That is when I spotted these two kids having a ball on a puddle unmindful of the speeding traffic behind them. Rain and kids I feel make a magical combination. Won't you agree?

Yep, I agree you expressed it very well in this picture aswell as the note and just the fact that you ran for cover and these kids had noi intention to to so, cover from what, fun? ;o) Exellent action shot.

Yes Avi, it is magical. And I'm sorry if I made you feeling "undecisive" between D70 and Rebel.If it makes you feel any better, D70 is also just as good and in some respect better. In some relative respects to Nikon, D70 is better than D100. As for your photo here, it is an art of focus in confusion.Everything around the boy is blurred.

very lively scene, but clicked a second too late. the boy on the right is partly outside the frame, we don't see the face of the boy in the middle and the bicycle is right behind him... good try, but could be more successful a second earlier ;)

A very good action shot, I don;t mind that the face of the runign kid it's not in the pic, but it was much good if the kid who's dancing was catch with the wholw face.

great B&W shot. the contrast between the boy standing/dancing and the moving environment is stunning. everything seems to be running out of the picture apart from 1 boy. good job!

You did a terrific snahopshot Avishek! The composition is excellent, the speed shuttle is well chosen and the motion of the right kid, the car and cycle is great. One word: perfect!

Brilliant. A great travel photograph, a lot more than just the sum of its parts...

Every element adds to make something nice. From the use of B&W, the shop, the bus, the kids. Very nice.

great dynamic shot! I love the "dancer" pose, he seems to be enjoying a lot the rainy day.
I also like that you have in your composition to different moving objects/directions, and that enhace the living atmosphere.
