Photographer's Note

Lambasingi (or Lammasingi) is a small village about 100 km from the city of Vizag in Andhra Pradesh, India. It is situated about 1000 meters above sea level in the Eastern Ghats in what is known as the agency area of Vizag. This quiet little hamlet is relatively less known and as yet ‘un-invaded’ by tourism unlike the Araku Valley. Winter temperatures are said to go as low as 0 deg C and the place remains covered in dense fog in the early morning. Though I was not able to catch the fog (intend to do so on Christmas day), there were some views that I found very appealing. Please see the WORKSHOP for the second view.

To reach Lambasingi from Vizag, you need to take National Highway 5 (NH-5) and after reaching the town of Narsipatnam about 70 km away, take a right turn and drive another 40 km along Chintapalli road, of which, the last about 15 km passes through the hill sections. (Right click and view image).
