Photographer's Note

It always fascinated me to watch out of the window of a moving train...rural India is so beautiful...The simple people...Their daily life...I started a new experiment this year when I was travelling from mumbai to chennai...I tried shooting from a moving train using the sports mode...It proved to be fruitful and I have made it a habit to shoot wherever I'm travelling to... This picture was taken in southern Andhra Pradesh as I was returning from my trip to Rajasthan last month...The train was moving @ around 40-50 Kmph...I was watching as India passed by...I was a little bit shy to pull out my camera(happens a lot many times!)...Then I thought to hell with my shyness and went ahead and clicked this one and many more...The one here is a typical scene during the harvest season...the people were harvesting rice...I used the sports thing I learnt is to try and take 3-4 continuos shots as otherwise composing might become difficult (POV changes very fast!)...I will be posting more pics of this category...I would like comments and critiques... and would be pleased to hear from anyone doing similair things...
