Photographer's Note

This is Uttare.
Uttare is a small village in west of Sikkim, India.
The village (2320 m) is surrounded by hilltops like Singalila and Phoktey Dara. Naturally, the area receives a good amount of rain throughout the year. The air is humid. As a result, there are green forests, lakes and waterfalls all over the place.

It was 8 in the morning. We were getting ready for an adventurous trek to Mehmbas falls in the forest. Our guide had arrived… and the rain started.
The landlady of our home-stay served hot coffee and consoled that the rain would not stay long. Our guide endorsed, “Yes, and you have to walk very fast so that the leeches don't catch you”
So, there was no defense against this attack. It was so disgusting that I took another shot without the treacherous cloud. Please find that in WS.
