Photographer's Note

There are not so many pictures from Tripura despite the fact that so many gifted Indian photographers are members in this website, so Iíll try my best to show some places from this remote small state.
Tripura is the second smallest state in India (after Goa), surrounding with Bangladesh (85% of it's borders), Mizoram and Asom (former known as Assam).
consist on 19 tribes among them the biggest group are Bengalis and minorities such as Tripurians and Mizo.
Many reminders of it's glories days but not so many signs of development today.
to Agartala one must have an armed escort because of the existence of revels near the main highway.

the Neermahal or the water palace is a magnificent building from far, and a urination deserted old building from the inside.
it's a symbol of the state, but looking after just 75 years like a neglected place.

probably the different between reality and reflecting image as can be seen in the picture...
