Photographer's Note

The magic of a Chaukori morning

When I woke up that morning
a thin rain was falling
no view
no mountains
I went out for a walk
to breath the pure wet air
it was a bit cold...
After breakfast
with my heart crying
I prepared my luggage
to leave...
but... before leaving the room
I saw something of clear in the sky
a sort of ray of light.
Woke up my Nikon
and run up to the viewpoint
to be prepared
for the changing of the weather.
In less than half an hour
all the mountains chain
reveals me its magic presence
where before I saw only clouds
now slowly appeared the majestic white snowy peaks
of Nanda Devi (7,816 metres -25,645 feet)
and the peaks of Panchchuli.
A show I will never forget.
