Photographer's Note

A safron-clad begger is a pretty usual site in India because safron-clad people have traditionally been regarded in India as holy people and people tend to regard them very much. Exploiting these emotions of the general public even the beggers take refuge in this clothing to hide their real self.

This person, on a railway platform in Meerut Cantt. station is gearing up for the daily show early in the morning. I took this photo from the window of my train. Some noise is apparent due to magnification but I hope it is bearable.
