Photographer's Note

A view of the amazing imperial complex of Fatehpur Sikri, taken on a very hot day.
Built with red stone by the Emperor Akbar, in the 16th century, Fathepur Sikri would be abandoned just a few years later. Today it's a World Heritage and represents a very good and well preserved example of Mughal architecture in India.
In background, we have the Diwan-i-Khas – Hall of Private Audience.
