Photographer's Note

This picture was taken somewhere in a narrow alley in Agra old quarter near Kuttra Omurkhan Gate. There is so much life and the frenetic energy going on here and the inevitable push to keep my eyes ahead searching for the next wonderful thing to shoot. This place somewhat gives the feeling of bygone era. I never get bored, everywhere is full of photo possibility, truly vivid and always there is something to discover to look at, to feast the eyes and it seems never stop.

I couldn't help stopping by this rustic appealing weather beaten walls dated back to 16th century, when Agra was the capital of India , revealing its age old maturity as old as the Taj itself. It's so photogenic full of detail grittiness, obviously this wall possesses a certain charm and character that I found so enchanting.

The off-duty rickshaw was padlocked and secured resting after hard days work, I thought was a perfect combination there.....
