Photographer's Note

Classic shot of this classic wonder. The only difference you’ll see from hundreds of the same shot, is the time of the day and the total absence of people.

I had five minutes to shoot this photo, because the Taj was closed, as it does every Friday. At 7h00 o’clock in the morning, surrounded by four guards, I was able to get this unique setting in exchange of rupees....

The previous afternoon, I had visited the Taj, but it was right after the ramadan, when thousands and thousands of pilgrims come for worship, so I didn’t even come close to the place where I’ve wanted to take my picture.
