Continuing the series from 2 uploads ago...

I "stole" this photo from the person this girl was posing for. If she was my model, I would have asked her to stand a bit to one side to create an off-centre composition and also to avoid the line of fountains "growing" out of her neck. But... yes, precisely - she was NOT my model. :-)

A word of explanation about my previous "photogenic tourists" post as two members were wondering. The person taking a photo... you would never guess... was a boy. I assume the son or some other family companion of the lady posing for the shot. Hard to guess, given all the accessories he was holding for the lady and also his bright top.

Two more photos in WS. This time the theme, apart from "photogenic tourists" is "green".

Ciao Kasia,very original photos as always. The lady in pink was not your model but the result is truly remarkable, artistic pose but of course the background has contributed decisively to make a difference. Two beautiful ideas in the WS, the details of the sari are amazing, while the reflective glasses give a decisive touch to the portrait of the couple. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hello Kasia,
It's a traditional photo from Taj Mahal, but with a difference. The girl doesn't look like the average tourist, but I think she dressed specifically for this portrait. She may not be standing in the perfect place, but her pink dress contrasts well with the greenish pool and the grayish background. I would gladly have stolen this photo too. The lady in the WS looks either rather well off, or she put on her very best clothes for this occasion. Her clothes look fairly expensive. It was a good idea to take that close view without bothering about her face. I think the couple in the other photo were locals, but who knows. Maybe Nepalese?

Hello Kasia,
I've never had such a fantastic model ... Some people have all the luck :)
Truly a magnificent photo of the Taj with a young Indian beauty in the foreground.
Her dress matches the colour of the walkways on either side of the elongated fountain and it contrasts well with the blue water.
The Taj shines beautifully at the top in a light fog.
In your first WS you focus well on the beautiful sari and the necklace.
In India it's difficult to know if someone is local or from the other side of the country.
Indians travel all over their country. On my last two journeys I've also met Indians who lived in the UK or the US and are therefore often dressed very Western.
Moreover, many Indians also move to another state because of better job facilities. So I also saw many different types among the people in the street.

Hello Kasia, any one of the three shots could have been a main post. All are excellent.
I agree with you about the positioning of the girl in this picture, although maybe the photographer could not see the line of fountains from his point of view. Her dress matches the colour of the paths perfectly.
The shot of the couple is quite clever, as we can see people reflected in the sun glasses of the man.
The embroidery detail on the woman's sari is beautiful.

Hello Kasia,

Good inclusion of the young fg woman in her hybrid bridal dress and mini. Excellent sharpness with a pleasant diffused light. The spectacular iconic Taj makes a superb backdrop and the manicured trees, and dual sides of the ornamental pool add superb linear perspective. The misty atmosphere adds mood. Tfs!

The mist gives it a mystical feeling as she stood in the very same place as have thousands and thousands of others and what a place it is one of the most magical places I have ever been.

bardzo ladna fotografia, wyglada bajecznie. Miejsce bajkowe a Twoja modelka jakby miala stroj istoty z bajki.
Jak juz pewnie to omawialismy, Tobie jako kobiecie o wiele latwiej fotografowac jest innych w szczegolnosci kobiety. Dla mnie to mogloby pewnie byc niebezpieczne :)
Po workshopach widac ze lubisz "podkradac" modele.
Bardzo oryginalna fotografia z tego znanego miejsca.

two things...you stole my thunder hahaha...i always seem to find actual models posing during my trips, and I've posted several of those shots...second...in the WS #2, its quite rare to see an Indian couple, especially the woman putting her arm around her husband like that, showing affection is not commonplace - so that's a great shot. I get the feeling this was taken very early as there aren't any people around. so much fun being here, love the shot and the memories it brings up. cheers

Splendid photo that seems to be made for a magazine or promotion, you are right, the off-center lady in the line of water jets would have been better, you took good advantage of the moment of posing for the model's photographer.

a marvelous use of the personage so well placed. I liked the soft touch of fog here too, adding a different aspect to the compo. excellent the two images of WS, the indian women looks ever like princesses, no matter how poor or rich they are.
