Photographer's Note

Three Sikh women laughing while they sit in the main courtyard of the Golden Temple, Harmandir Sahib, of Amritsar.

Personally, I like the image because it reflects some of the generosity and good humour of the Sikhs as well as the self-assured nature of the women. Besides, it's kinda infectious ;)

From a photographer's view, I meant to capture emotion and the radiance of the first woman's laughter. The women behind both laugh and smile in their very own way, reflecting their natures. I prefer images that are unposed and while many Indians have a natural tendency and great capabiltiy for poses when caught before the lens I like the naturalness.
