And all the roads that lead you there are winding!

On the way to Leh from Srinagar.
After you cross Kargil district and enter Ladakh area the landscape changes to this rugged type. Totally barren with almost no vegetation at all.
This picture was shot while we were heading towards Fotu La (13,479 ft), the highest point on Leh Srinagar route.

Very well composed, colours and textures looks real. I like the way you have handled the colours saturation and the POV with the road in first place mixing with the landscape. Snowed mountains to the background gives deep perspective. Good work.

hello Neelima,
I like a lot the sense of distance here created by the multitude of layers in different colours and with different textures. the road is a good lead-in line, and the play of light and shadows on the slopes of the mountains add dynamism to the scene. very nice work.
