Stakna gompa is built on the summit of a high rock in the middle of the Indus Valley.
Scenically is one of the most interesting gompa to visit as it's not far from Leh.

Hi Luca,
Wonderful landscape.
Great pov, dof, colors, light and sharpness.
I like much the tree in the foreground and the gompo on this high rock in the background.
Nice fresh atmosphere.

Great shot of Stakna.....perceived as a tooth sticking out of a gum its gets its name in Ladhaki...!

A favourite place of mine:-)

The colour & sharpness is simply mind blowing!....
I like the way the monastry is offcentered to make this a very interesting one.

Hai inquadrato molto bene il monastero, e poi la foto è piena di colori, cosa abbastanza rara nelle foto di queste località.
E poi mi affascinano anche le poche erbe e vegetazione che cresce fra tanti sasssi
