Photographer's Note
Thats what it dam well costs in England to put a tent up in a field! Day light robbery. Who said Dick Turpin was dead.
An over exposed photo but one I could not resist turning into monochrome and doing some pp, however it did have some fungal growth on the film which is very difficult to get rid of but I am informed that there are some expensive liquid products that can help. All the same I like the family group and it was these people that crossed the glaciers and snow fields with their animals and belongings that you see in some of the other photos in my gallery

Dear Simon,
An exact documentation of the life of these people in your picture.
They are called "Gaddy". their ship flock must be grazing somewhere nearby. I was only searching for their accompanying dogs which I did not get.
Best wishes

Hi Simon
I like it a lot... with the PP and the fungi, it gives the picture a kind of National geographic early days

Pretty much a timeless image and also an important record of the way people live. I like this just as you've presented it, warts and all.

Hi Simon, A wonderfully sharp photo & your work on PP is excellent, the overexposure you mention is not to bad at all, the composition is very good & i agree a timeless shot to be cherished, great work & TFS, kind regards Wilson.

Hi Simon
I agree, that does sound like robbery, i hope the one on the picture was cheaper to put up!
I like the B+W and the flaws in it, it makes it look like something a lot older than 1990.
Nice one
Harry
