Cockscomb flower or Mawal flower is used in this dish and hence the red color in the dish.

Wazwan is cooked in nickel-plated copper vessels. Wazwan is traditional multi-course meal in traditional Kashmiri cuisine. It's a delighting experience eating.

The taste was immaculate. In simple words, mouthwatering.

Between fifteen to twenty nine preparations of meat are cooked and served. The whole course is Wazwan.

This individual cooked item or dish is called Rogan Josh. Rogan means fat. As one can see fat in this photo.

And Josh means prepared in intense temperature. Together means Oil in temperature.

This dish is of tender lamb and the color comes from the Mawal Flower used.
