On way to Leh- 86, a photo from Jammu and Kashmir, North

This is the 86th picture of the series.

Another view of the Pangong Lake. I am not sure about the depth of the lake, however it is definitely very very deep as informed by a few of the army people there. The water was freezing cold even in July. At present in January the temperature of this place comes down to -50 to -60 degree celcius. The lake gets all frozen up by October and Army crosses it by driving truck across the surface.

Hi Hemant, nicely saturated colours and some lovely shadows on the distant mountains. Just a couple of things to look out for - the horizon is just a little tilted & the file size is a little small resulting in a loss of sharpness. All can be fixed with a little PP work.

A marvellous warm vs cold colour contrast, between the red & blue. Good sharpness althogh contrast is ostensibly a little high. Excellent composition, & tfs!
