Photographer's Note
This picture was taken while drving into Nubra Valley. The road in the picture is the one that goes towards Panemic Monestary and spring. The white sandy high altitude desert looks amazing from this height and is hard to believe. The road is smooth and is maintained by the Border Road Organization, a unit of Indian Army. The road is wonderful and a driver's dream. A must do for all travelers.

What an amazing sight indeed! The poles (electricity, telephone?) give the scale, and then one identifies a tiny white vehicle on the road. The way the road leads the eye across the desert and then out of the picture makes it a perfect composition. Thank you for sharing.

Hello Hemant,
Your photo shares very well the idea of wilderness of the ladakhi landscapes. The road lost in the middle, the top of the mountains not in the frame, all this evidences the large size of the landscapes.
Very good framing,
Yves.

Hi Hemant,
Amazing view. It looks like the road was build on low laying clouds. Or a snowy plane. White sand didn't come to my mind. I like this tighter framing but color balance seems to be better on the WS version.
